I usually avoid hotel restaurants, but this one is exceptional. A medium sized dinner menu, but with a good variety to please anyone. Dishes are very well prepared and tasty. 

The place itself is outstanding - a large room with lofty ceiling and gigantic windows overlooking the town of Lake Placid, the Lake, and the mountain backdrop. 

I have eaten here several times and will continue to do so while staying at the hotel.

This place will change you mind about hotel dining. Dinner service was awesome. The French Onion soup was some of the best I've had. The burger and other entrées I sampled were excellent too. Amazing staff and service and a beautiful room overlooking the Lake and the mountains. 

We left, very satisfied. You can find great dining without going into town! Great job and keep up the great work.
